The only assumptions for using Gamesontrack products are:
a) A digital controller with PC-interface, see the list below
b) A Pc with minimum 1.5 GHz CPU and 1 Gbyte RAM, Windows (XP/Vista/W7/W8) or Mac with Parallels
c) Digital control and usual decoders for DCC or Motorola/MFX in locos and trains.
There is no demand about switches, signals, track occupations or the like to be all digitalized. GT-Command can control all that but you can add it as you go.
The normal hand terminals from Roco Fleischmann, Pico, Märklin etc. without PC-interface can not use GT-Command.

www.gamesontrack.co.ukThe connection to the Gamesontrack PC is very detailed described in the manual for each system. In most cases it works automatically while Gamesontrack searches either COM-port or IP-address etc.. The normal used methods are Serial interface (may be using USB converter for PC's without old serial connector), like Roco or Intellibox. Or USB-interface like Lenz. Or Connection to router and LAN (or direct to PC) like ESU and Märklin.
When you order a test license or buy the products you will have direct admission to the full manual from download.
