Every receiver has its own global ID. Comsumption: The receiver takes about 30 mA, rail current or 14-20, optimal is 17 V DC.
Distance: Up to 10 m distance using 12,9 mm senders and up to 8 m distance using 9,9 mm senders
Precission: Plotting within 6 m distance has a precission of 10 mm or better.
Capacity: The system can plot 10 moving vehicles per second with 10 mm precission. Up to 0,5 m/s speed.
Test: Systemet has been tested on normal layouts up to 30 m2 using 6 receivers.
Tunnels and shadow areas: The systemet works like any GPS. At large hidden areas like a shadow station or a shadow shunting area you can insert an extra pair of receivers. In tunnels the systems works like any GPS, knowing the speed and the track the uncertainty will be compensated with a calculation based on other train data like speed. The software contains a tunnel block which allow us to trap a train when going into the tunnel and keep is "locked" until it comes out on the other side. The user can use this in order toi avoid too much flickering.
Fiddleyards and other contro lareas are handled by a separate set of receivers in its own scenario. This gives as good precission as the normal layout.
