GamesOnTrack on the Cologne fair
GamesOnTrack were present for the first time in Cologne at the big model train exhibition. We had many visitors who saw Voice Control and Positioning for the first time. And it generated a great deal of enthusiasm.

Model railway without wires

Two wires only:
GamesOnTrack is working to make model train systems as cordless as possible. The video below shows one of our dealers showroom facilities in Germany. A small but intense Märklin system is run professionally with nothing but wires for traction. The switches have built-in decoders, all feedback and signals are operated by GT-positioning systems, and automation and control is handled by GT-Command.
2 wires!.

The rails are just put together, no separation or insulation and built in record time. Trains are equipped with the GT-Position (in the loco or on the wagon) and the receivers are in the ceiling. The automation fits 7 trains with sliding driveway to the station, commuting traffic, general roundtours and manual override where you want to. Both block control and automatic selection of the free tracks at station areas are included. All signal positions are shown on the display.

See the little 45 seconds video,or read more about the options available with the GT-Command and GT-Position in the many other quick guides in the menu to the left.

In V 3.3 GT-Position is expanded with:
• Coupling of more receivers in one scenario together so that larger layouts can be covered.
• Expansion of both 2D and 3D
• Automatic adjustments for temperatur on the GPS

New graphical symbols:
• Updated and more smooth drawing algoritm, particular for straight lines
• New active turnout symbol which shows route and direction, controlled by voice, mouse or automatics.
• Nre graphical signal symbol, controlled by voice, mouse or automatics.
• Truee speed converted to all gauges: N/H0/0/1/G .
• Occupied blocks are made more visible, non occupied blocks are greyed out.

Voice control is expanded:
• New Dutch Voice control
• Expanded routing functions includes points of any kind

Voice Control
In cell phones voice control has been an option for some time, however very few people use it. The problem is that the model assumes you as a user to train the phone and learn the device your way of speaking. And you forget how you trained the phone, thus is does not work after a while again.
Gamesontrack is different. We use already spoken standard libraries created by 1000-4000 people from most parts of the country.

Find the bug
For any model train enthusiasts wiring and cabling under the layout is a major challenge. Countless are the wire bundles, which from time to time have be scrapped when the layout is built on. And countless are the error searches where a problem must be found among a jungle of wires, where the color, the bundling, or the mark up is not up-to-date. But the worst is probably that many enthusiasts and many young people think it is too cumbersome, and therefore throws himself over the alternatives.

How to automate
There are many ways to do automisation of a model railway layout. The traditional method deals with doing all the security stuff as a copy of the real railway. That means putting a lot of electronics under the tracks for how to adjust points, turnouts, occupation of blocks etc. Gamesontrack introduces a somewhat different method with focus on easiness and simplicity in order to get as much as possible to operate in a controlled way.
